Jonathan Faasse
Vice President, Landscape Architect
Jonathan is a Licensed Landscape Architect (LLA) in the state of Michigan and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s of Landscape Architecture in 2006. After graduation, he worked in Wheaton, IL providing landscape architecture and land planning services for a variety of clients in the greater Chicago area. In 2011 Jonathan and his wife, Kristin, started Elements Studio, Inc. in the Lansing area.
There are few things in life that give Jonathan as much joy and excitement as designing landscapes. He believes that landscapes contribute socially, environmentally, and economically to the value of our daily lives. Jonathan is continually inspired by the opportunity to add these benefits to his client’s outdoor spaces.
Jonathan enjoys being outside whenever possible. From exploring botanical gardens to hiking in the wilderness, he is always carefully examining his surroundings. Jonathan looks for ways to allow his findings to inspire designs. Plants are particularly fascinating to Jonathan. Their forms, colors, and textures are dynamic – constantly changing the look and feel of the outdoor environment.
As a Christian, Jonathan is committed to serving God through serving his clients, treating them as he would like to be treated.
